Stopped in around noon for lunch with a business associate! We were able to grab a table in the area. The bar tender was busy, but didn't forget us. We both ordered bone-in wings (medium sauce and lemon pepper sauce) and a starter of garlic Parm fries. The food came out after we finished the first rounds of drinks. We ordered extra extra crispy winds and they did not disappoint use! Sorry for the lack of pictures, but they were amazing!

My new goto spot when flying out of Syracuse. Lively locals and great food. Decent beer selection and very clean. Love finding hidden gems like these. A real great spot for locals and people passing through the area or flying due to proximity to airport. Really enjoyed the time here before flying out as the airport is three miles away. Will be back again when I fly back into town. Very nice people.

This is a great local bar. The food here is always on point. One of my favorites in their menu is the heart attack. It's a hot dog wrapped with cheese and then wrapped in bacon. It's delicious. Plus the beer is fairly priced and always cold. My favorite spot to catch the Yankees game or just to sit and drink.

I have been looking over a year for a suitable replacement to Sal's Seafood in the North Syracuse/Mattydale area for a Friday lunchtime fish fry sandwich. Sal's closed last year after serving the community for over 70 years and me patronizing them for at least the last 20 or so. Well, I finally found the place! Town Tavern's fish fry sandwich is very comparable to Sal's - a large piece of fish, perfectly breaded and fried, served on a sub roll with equally nice French fries, all at a very reasonable price. There are other good options in the area, but this is the closest to Sal's that I've found. Great job Town Tavern! Please don't change a thing. You have a new regular customer!
